Sad but true ... I think we (Belgians) have some good children's book writers, Marc de Bel is the perfect example. I devoured his books when I was in my early teens. I also really liked Thea Beckman. But now ... I try to read the classics (Hugo Claus, Jef Geeraerts) but I just don't really enjoy them. I enjoy fantasy a lot more

It's happening more often to me these days. I sometimes have to ask my colleague who shares the office with me to translate an English word for me
