BBC is a mixture of news and entertainment. The former is sometimes combined with the latter. AP and Reuters both focus more on news, but sites that host AP contain advertising, as does the BBC, whereas Reuters has analysis and opinions, which is not news. I used to prefer the BBC, but increasingly now rely on Reuters.
