Hello,

Sorry if this topic is posted on this forum as I am a newbie here.

I am a UNIX system admin so I know computers and their OSes quite well; just for the record. I have been using my 300 for about a year now with Calibre with no trouble whatsoever (note that I am not running the Sony Library app).

What I need to know is how to put the 300 into test mode. I have a copy of the service manual which suggests that a program can be run whilst the reader is attached to the computer via USB (I use a PC with XP Pro to manage the ebook).

Does anyone know the name of this program to "enable" test mode or, better yet, a link to it?

Again, I am very sorry if this is posted somewhere else on the forums (I couldn't find it with a forum search).

Any help is really appreciated!
