No, this is not a common problem report. Did your problem resolve or do you need troubleshooting help?

One issue with 1.1 (stock and rooted -- it's not a rooting issue) is that with some people's wifi APs, wifi on 1.1 Nooks do not automatically connect after wake from long sleep (*). Turning the wifi off and then on always fixes mine. (tap on the bottom notification bar in the right corner (where the wifi icon would be), then toggle off and on).

If that's not your issue, you can try rebooting (wifi ap and Nook). Also, if the wifi network is in the saved settings, try forgetting the connection and re-entering it.

Worst case, you can reset to stock and re-root.

* What's interesting is that BN seemed to fix some people's wifi unreliability with 1.1 and break others'.
