When the issue of "I like to read real books" comes up I tell them I have not given up "real" books and that I like to read.. period. Sometimes I like holding the tome of paper and sometimes I don't.

I prefer the convience of the small platform of the reader as it fits in my coat pocket. I am more likely to carry it with me than that 1000+ page novel I am reading.

E-Readers allow us the convience of having more books on hand in a smaller form. It does not take from the pleasure of reading, it enhances it.

Personally my house is still full of books because I love them as much as my reader.
