2 taps to go past cover in internal reader

I have the latest version of Calibre running on a variety of windows Pc's (XP/Vista/7).

I often read epubs and mobi files inside Calibre (even if only to check the appearence before distribution). I noticed that despite the text file not having any images, it always takes two taps to go past the cover page image in the internal reader. This is regardless how I resize the frame (which seems to remember its position only per book rather than globally).

The image seems to move up a fraction then move to the inserted metadata and then on to the novel. This happens on downloaded images and internally generated ones. It seems that the image is not being totally displayed on opening and moves up to show the bottom few lines.

I can't think this is a setting, but you may know otherwise. Anyhow, an extra tap on the page forward button is not exactly onerous, but hey ho I thought I'd mention it in case there is something I am doing wrong (as usual).
