thanks for your help,tigrangh.

I can´t do the hard reset either...I get nothing on the screen.

also, when I reset the 300 and start it, I can only start it once...if I want to start it again-get the orange light again-, I need to reset it again...

I edit because I´ve made an advance, I hope...I started the 300, plug it in the pc and pless the down key and 0 simultaneusly...I the two disk on the 300 now appears accesible...

I have formated one of them but I cannot format the other-disk is write protected-

no diference

I have also change the name of the media.xml to media.xml.bak, but I cannot see much on the sceen...

I say I can´t see much on the screen because I can see that the text on the screen has changed...but I cannot read anything because the text is too faded away
