I can read up to 4 to 5 books simultaneously - but there is usually a main book that has my attention a little more than the others. What's hard in my house is finding a nice quiet corner to read as there is a tv blabbing away in every room. Ok- not every room but it seems that way. When the house is finally nice and quiet and I can start reading without any distractions- then I'm in happy land, so I am also a reader that likes it quiet. Some noise is ok but quiet is better.
