And what is happening in Australia today - well, now it's floods in Victoria and in the north of our state. The tail end of the tropical cyclones Anthony and Yasi, nearly 2000 km away.
On the plus side it's a little overcast here but a very pleasant 21 deg C at the moment - first day I have had any energy after 35-40C temperatures over the last few weeks. A chance to cool the house down before the next heatwave!
