Amen! I'm in the camp of "remove it as soon as I purchase so I can move my library with me." As my needs grow and change, so will my ebook format needs and preferences. Publishers either don't understand this, or more likely, don't want to. And I keep my books. They're not disposable, to me. I never ever delete a book after I read it, and I re-read lots, too. I want to be able to access those files (and darn it, I PAID for it, I had better be able to access it!) anytime I want on any device I choose to use.
