French fries are those thin things. Flemish fries are the real stuff

If done correctly... They are harder to do right, which is why most people will take the French fries... But the best is Ras Patat. Which is made from mixing potato powder with water and compressing that mixture into fries.

It's something that is mostly found in the northern part of the Netherlands, but you will find a few (better) cafetaria that will sell it in the rest of the country as well.
