I also like the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2
I, who have the honor of starting of this thread, have settled on the XtraFlex2. The brightness (one LED in the dark, 2 LEDs in a dim room) is just right, the longevity of the batteries is great, the flexible neck is nice and the price is right. Sure, I'd like the base to smaller and/or flatter, but not at the expense of changing non-standard batteries more often.
The Great Point Flex-Neck I have dims too quickly when the watch-style batteries run down.
The CFL Phorm Light Voyager is too bright, heavy, and the clamp is too stiff.
