Good question, Steven. I don't think that the furry archetype is really that common anymore (whatever happened to Red Wall?)
I've actually got a friend who is working on a furry fantasy. About two years ago, I got an idea to write my own. Sadly, the book never came to fruition, but I did manage to come up with close to 7 pages of notebook material on it.
I loved Red Wall as a kid and blame a little game called Furcadia for contributing to my start at writing. This was back in...96 I believe, but still have to give it props when props are do. Actually found it kind of funny that 15 years later, my brother is playing the same exact game.
