I used the web version of the Android Market yesterday, and it was great. I've never had an issue with getting apps directly from the phone market, but the web version makes it incredibly easy to search, read the reviews, and then install. I clicked the install button, wandered over to my phone a few moments later, and there was the app, installed.
Brilliant. No manual syncing, or anything.
