Brand new NC is now flashing battery charge/condition when plug or cable is slightly jarred, like its intermittant. Never been dropped, pulled or abused.

Why is the charge/usb plug in the bottom to begin with? With the limited battery capacity I want to charge when reading but can't stand up with plug at bottom.

Related: Its heavy - I want an adjustable all angle stand solid enough to swipe pages without moving it and keep any pressure off the charge plug.
