Yes, I have read Asimov's Foundation series and know about Trantor and the Galactic center. Co-opting a great work of fiction to couch a political agenda may be mildy amusing but it is still a political agenda.

Maybe the Sarah the Mule will save them from the evil oppressive government. (See I combined two literary references into one but in this case there is only one mule for sister Sarah).

Apparently they didn't read about the Socialists in the Second Foundation and how powerful they are.
