That's Charlie Stross, who is a fine writer and a nice guy. He's also a MobileRead member (cstross), though he hasn't been by in a bit.

Kris is a publisher (she and husband Dean Wesley Smith were proprietors of a small press called Pulphouse,) editor (former editor of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction,) and published freelance writer.
