Sometimes it stuns more than zaps them dead, but a stunned flea is easily converted into a dead one. One jumped off Norton a couple of days ago as soon as the comb touched him and I had to chase the little bugger all around the bed to do him in. The comb is powered by one AA battery. I'd like to figure out how to hook it to the car battery, but then again, that might not be such a good idea.
