My husband went into work today... all the way to the Quad Cities. Whether he tries to come home tonight or not is the real question! He is prepared to stay there if it isn't safe to make the trip home. I just hope we don't lose power. Though we have plenty of firewood, so that's good.

Sheesh. Well, we almost didn't find out that Chris didn't have to work til it was too late, he was going to go in and see if anyone was there, but then he thought to check the website of the radio station that the plant uses for closure notices. Sure enough...
