no you don't know about the winter in tropical area. Many friends of mine have gone to snowy places and they say it's still easier to deal with, rather than the 10-degree-winter in the north of Vietnam. the humidity usually goes up to 100%  and it's horrible. When you touch a thing, especially new clothes in the drawer or the blanket that nobody used in the last 5 minutes, you'll see, it's cold in a wet way - much colder than when it's cold in a dry way  That's something I can't describe using words, you guys should experience it yourselves.

Well, you described it so vividly that I'm almost shivering myself.

I think it's like here. Now it is minus 4C, but so cold while there's a cold wind blowing. It feels like minus 20.

I hope you'll have a nice holiday, even when the temperature is a bit low.
