Someone please correct me if I am mistaken, but the ONLY way that I have found to automatically translate meta-tag data from individual EPUBs "TAG" entries into 'Collections' on the reader is to load the books onto the reader using Calibre.

Otherwise, ONLY the meta-data for the authors name and the book titles are automatically extracted and processed by the reader.

On the other hand, if you use Calibre to load the data into the SD card (using the extended options drop down menu, because the default is to load into the main memory), then you CAN have Calibre automatically translate Tags->Collections using whatever 'plugboard' rules it has in place.

You CAN add titles from your SD cards to collections manually from the readers GUI screen,

But as already mentioned, whether you do it yourself, or have Calibre automatically do it, a single named collection can't have book titles from more than one file system source (Internal Memory, SD Card, or Memory Stick are all separate sources)

Not sure why this stupid limitation exists since the reader internally uses the Linux OS which happily mounts EVERYTHING under the same file system, but that's the way it is.
