I became completely spoiled in Germany with bread. I go out of my way to get good bread here. I have a good friend who shops at a pretty fantastic market in a town called Poulsbo about 45 minutes from here. he goes once a week and I have a standing order for a bread that is essentially bauern brot. I get it every other week, they are just like the loaves in Germany, quite large!

Mr M loves to sit on top of the backrest behind my head, though not to lick himself. He has discovered that womping me around the head with his tail is fun! The other night he even turned around and assumed a position (leg down) in order to womp me more effectively. he particularly likes it when I catch his tail and he has to wrest it free from my grip to start womping again!
yes, Strider and I do that, I call it the tail whacka game ;o)
Civil unrest (floods too) and rioting tends to bring out the worst in some people.
