There seem to be issues with the installer on some 64-bit systems. We do not have a 64-bit system which makes it hard o investigate the issue. However the .cmd files (rather than the .jar files) should run Ok.

2) now the question: I am absolutely tech-unsavy, so forgive me if this is really dumb, but someone told me that calibre2Opds can also be used to transfer files between the calibre library on the pc/laptop and the dedicated ebook reader. Can anybody direct me to instructions on how to do this? My ebook reader is a Pocketbook 903.

Thanks!
No - this is not a Calibre2opds feature. However Calibre itself should be able to do that.
