Thanks for your replies everyone!

I'll answer my own question now that I have two readers.

I use my PRS-350 for all my on the go reading. It is with me on the bus, on vacation, at lunch -- it basically lives in my purse. I love how small and light it is.

My new toy, the rooted NC, is my at home reader. I'm really liking the backlit screen for allowing me to read in parts of the house that just aren't that well lit. Especially by the fireplace!

I also like being able to do a quick email check or web surf. And finally, this is the perfect size device (for me) for reading the newspaper (yay NYT app).
