Where possible I use mobile versions of websites which are generally easier to view - ie m.dropbox.com or mobileread.mobi
Note that you may run into logging in issues with the latest gen Kindle and with the mobile version of this site I can read but not post!
Or try something like readingthenet.com which is good just for web browsing/reading purposes.
Otherwise I use the Kindle sideways!
