If I'm really liking a book, I average 80-100 pages per day. I usually only read late in the evening after everything else is done. If a book is good but not riveting, I read less than that. If I'm having trouble getting into a book, it slows down considerably. If it's really bad I won't finish it, but most of the time I stick it out in the hopes it will get better. It's not so much about reading speed but how long I can get lost in it without wandering off to do other things.

I rarely have more than one book going at a time, and if I do, it's generally one fiction and one non-fiction. I prefer to stick to one story world at a time.
