Happy Monday, everyone! The thermometer is reading in the minus numbers, but the kitchen is warm and cozy. Just right for a cup of "Catherine" Royal Blend tea and a bowl of muesli.
The Japan Sea side of this island is getting
pounded by snow storms. Thank goodness the Kyoto area only gets a dusting a couple of times during a winter. Although the snow is falling now, nothing is sticking to the ground, and the roads here won't freeze. I can see snow on the tops of the mountains that surround Kyoto, (and it sure looks pretty,) but not have to deal with shoveling snow, tire chains on my bike, or power failures.
Damn... this Catherine's Royal Blend need to be exchanged for something that doesn't taste as if the sewers backed up. Yuck! I'm going for an oldie but goodie... Yorkshire tea!
