This skin is more of a protective skin, with a nice, grippy feel. Almost everything that can be covered is covered. Even though the page buttons and the volume buttons are completely covered, they are very easy to click, and I think that the skin actually makes the buttons quieter. My only complaint is that it's picked up several white specs, but it's still pretty awesome. Oh and it's pretty expensive.

I've also reviewed the product on Amazon. My review on Amazon is a lot more detailed.
no, this is the perfect place for it! I had a silicone skin for my first kindle that I quit using. my main concern with this skin, just like the silicone, is what about screen protection? I dump my kindle in a purse or a backpack without a second thought in my cover. I'm going to assume that there is not any screen protection?

$20 isnt bad I dont think. Do you think itll be safe if you were to drop it or is a cover still needed?
yeah, it won't fit in a cover afaik. I'm pretty sure it would fit in a sleeve though
