OK, I understand why Kindle owners wouldn't take their Kindles out of the house -- they're embarassed at not having bought a Sony! (Only kidding, of course.)

I take my Sony 950 everywhere with me. It fits neatly in my jacket pocket and when the weather is nice enough to leave the jacket at home, I carry it in a waist pouch. I did the same with my Sony 505, which has been passed down to my wife who also takes it out with her.

Truthfully, I would never have bought an ereader device if it wasn't portable and I didn't plan to take it out with me. Financially, it wouldn't have been justifiable largely because of the ebook EULAs (which I do know we can get around by stripping DRM), especially now with agency pricing.
