Don't you mean pounds ? I've seen some weight gain as well after a rigorous workout but never ever 4 kg. 1 kg would be the maximum weight gain I've ever seen (as a result of exercise).
And if you lose 5 kg in a couple of days, you've probably lost a lot of water. Sadly enough, fat doesn't disappear quite so fast.
