Well, it depends what sort of "reference" book. A dictionary - not. I am not one of the rare types who read dictionaries cover to cover

But I am currently reading Bill Bryson's "Short History of Nearly Everything", which is both pleasure to read and a kind of reference, so when I finish it I am probably going to put it into a "read" category, but also keep it on my Kindle.
