anyways, even with the improved speed of the stock 2GB card. A2SD was still too slow after further testing and clearly has some issues.

edit: it appears disappearing 3rd party apps are still happening after a successful factory reset. I have no idea what's going on.

could it be faulty firmware or device?

edit 2nd: oops, it appears this problem was caused by an external SD card with EXT3 formated partition that was inserted.
