Hi Jorgej,

If you hold down the power button for too long (IIRC it's 8 seconds), the device will initiate an immediate hardware shutoff. I.e. the equivalent of keeping the power button on your computer held down.

While on it's way to this hardware shutoff, the device registers the regular power off command as well since it's about 5 seconds IIRC (sorry, I don't remember the exact timings offhand).

So you're probably seeing the device shutting off the hardware BEFORE it's finished drawing the power off screen from the previous command to power off (hence the glitchy image).
