I am able to sideload my books on the nook fairly well. It is more that I can't do it unless I'm at home. Of course I can always read on my iphone until I get home. I very very seldom shop at Amazon.
I have been in the Nook forum. I have tried using the sticky to make my covers show up, and so far have been unsuccessful. I find that thread very long to sift through to find the "directions" on how to make it work, so I may have missed something.
I'm probably being overly picky. I am not going to be able to have multiple ereaders, so this feels like a big thing, that has to be "perfect". As I say to my husband, its really quite scary to be me.
Thankyou for all your help and feedback.

if you are looking for downloading ePub books wirelessly from outside vendors then yeah it'll always have to be connected to your computer. The same goes with the Sony as well.
