I'm trying to convert Word Docs in Russian to work on the nook. I save in the proper filtered HTM format and Calibre converts it to EPUB just fine. The problem is that the Nook doesn't recognize the text and replaces all letters with question marks. Russian books downloaded from B&N are fine. I've tried changing the character encoding to CP 1252, iso-859 and utf-8 and continue to get ??s all over. The UTF-8 version does not open at all. Any suggestions?
