Just an idea: Isn't there any tag I can insert into words on places where they can be divided? I could prepare text source this way then:

Hy&div;phen&div;a&div;tion

If I can tell Mobi file where the hyphen can be in the words during the pre-processing phase of conversion and Kindle understand it, the text will be much better to read.
