I think that it is correct that it is better not to let them get too low. But I do not think that it is harmful to let them get full. Just based on what I have read.

I know camera users who routinely "top off" their batteries before going out shooting, even if they only took a few pictures the last time they went out. From what I've been reading here, the Nook won't charge if it's above 80%, but camera people do it all the time.
