A couple things need to be pointed out here:

1) 1,711 respondents in a country the size of Iraq (especially when you consider the difference in answers you get between the different groups) doesn't sound to me to be a large sample size.

2) More importantly, the poll you site is from 2005.

I'm not saying I know how Iraqis feel (individually or within the different groups) one way or the other, but I don't think you'll get a real picture of what the Iraqis think by looking at a poll from 2005, when things there were very different.
