I would like to add my vote to the several above who have mentioned a Geek-to-English vocabulary. It doesn't have to be lengthy, but it does have to assume little-to-none geekspeak. My eyes also glaze over when reading some threads explaining how to do this or that really cool thing. I don't have time/energy/desire to become a python programmer, so mostly I just file it away as it's possible for power users, but not for me--maybe some day. As a result, I know that I only use about 2% of what Calibre can do, and maybe 33% of what I wish I could do, and know is possible. Of course, there is a lot in Calibre that I have no desire or need for, but that only shows how powerful an application it is.

About all I can contribute is a willingness to read any vocabulary pages or other stickies for "non-geek" friendliness. If I can understand it, just about anyone should be able to.
