It would be helpful to know what features you are most interested in in an e-reader.

You mentioned using the library and battery life but that is about it.

Do you like using touch screens?
Do you care about wireless connectivity?
Is screen size important to you?
Will you be taking notes?

All I can tell you know is that both are good readers and will serve you just fine. I would suggest going to best buy and checking both readers out. That might help you decide which you prefer.
