I see what you're saying. 33 is, of course, how 42 would be notated in a base 13 system, while I was referring to what 42 in a base 13 system represents in a base 10 system (54).
I won't spoil the ending of the first sequel for you, so I'll simply say along with Paul that it
might have something to do with the question, "What do you get when you multiply six by nine?"
...or maybe not.
