Yep, in the three months that I've had my wi-fi reader it had something similar to this fault once. I pressed the power and it did nothing. So I pressed and held it down again and the machine booted up as if it was off. My last sessions reading didn't set a new bookmark, so I was back to the page where I had started that night.

Only did it once though.
