Yes. It's one of the reasons I wanted to root.
It's free, it works fairly well and it'll up date all the contents with one menu selection for off-line reading. You can find it easily at the Android Market.
I wouldn't have subscribed anyway, but a one year on-line NYT subscription costs more than the color nook!
