I'll be the odd one out and say that I prefer the Sony Library software over Calibre. I find the UI of Calibre inscrutable, I don't like having folders created for every single book I add to the library, and I like to sort my titles within collections.

The mileage of others definitely varies on this topic.

With a Mac, Calibre may be best.
