You might be able to give it a try though.
1 - First, be sure that you can access the Recovery Mode on your E65; it probably works the same way as on the E60 (place an official firmware nammed "E65k.bin" in the /Firmware_Update/*directory).*You will not loose any of your data (books, music…) but your settings will be erased (Wifi key, etc).
If you can't access the Recovery Mode, don't go any further.
2 - Try flashing the modified firmware for E60 on your E65, using the standard E65*update method.
If it works: great!
If it doesn't: use the Recovery Mode to revert to an official E65*firmware.
