Most internet service providers have pop3 servers for mail. You'll need to find out from them what the names of the servers are. There's one name for the incoming mail and one for the outgoing mail. You'll probably have to put in your user name and password also.

There's a wizard that guides you through the process in outlook for setting up accounts, but you still need to know that info from your service provider.

To set it up on your pda, I think the mail app is part of Windows Mobile, so you probably just have to make sure that in activesync options you have turned on the mail sync conduit. (Put a check mark on it.)
