Hello, everyone.

I am a longtime reader, a recent ebook reader and an even more recent owner of the Sony PRS-505.

I am a second generation SF fan and started reading SF&F in 5th grade (1974?). Except for technical stuff, I only read SF&F. I also enjoy writing SF&F though I am not published or anything. Some of my favorite authors: Heinlein, Niven, Card, Chalker, Moorcock, Zelazny, Moon, Weber.

Professionally, I have been a programmer for 20 years. For the last 8 I have written exclusively in Java - so if you have any Java questions, there's a good chance that I might actually know the answer.
