Even a punch in the kisser isnt all that bad. A belly punch that you know is coming and you can prepare for is not all that horrible. In the barracks days we use to rough house all the time. we use to fight. That is part of being "brothers."
You have a better chance in throwing out your back doing real work and alcohol numbs the pain.
