I havent seen or heard of that error before but reading these forums it seems that a lot of problems are encountered after charging via your PC.
Unless the PC is being used the whole time if it goes into sleep mode it can actually drain your reader. If you have a wall charger, I used my daughters PS3 charger, try that. It might be that simple. Otherwise Im sure someone more knowledgable than me will come on and give you advice. Good Luck
