Not having any luck. Progress bar goes about 25% across,

the reset button no longer works. Have to unplug battery to power off.

Any suggestions? Is this one gone for good?
You encountered the dreaded flash-loop. It happens whenever you attempt to flash from a 2011 OP firmware to a non-OP firmware. You will need to apply the fixflashloop fix developed by kewlguy. THEN you can flash back to a non-OP firmware.

Generally speaking, once you flash to an OP firmware you need to stay with the OP firmware. Whenever you want to go back, you need to apply the fixflashloop fix BEFORE attempting to flash a non-OP firmware.

Here's the link to kewlguy's OP 1/14-based firmware (which includes info about his fixflashloop fix).

Provided that you can access your PDN via ADB on your PC then your PDN is not beyond help.
